An award-winning brewery committed to using the finest ingredients and combining the best floor-malted English Maris Otter barley with chalk aquifer-percolated water, rich in natural ions and goodness to create their amazing Mash. Once in the Brew Kettle, Andwell Brewery carefully adds selected hop varieties, chosen for their distinctive aroma and bittering qualities.

The brewery is based in a former trout smokehouse in the idyllic riverside hamlet of Andwell, Hampshire. The perfect setting to indulge their passion - crafting truly exceptional and exceptional (and internationally-acclaimed) real ale and beer.

Gold Muddle is the winner of the Regional SIBA Gold Award Standard Bitters | 2013 as well as several other regional awards.

 

TASTING NOTES

Named after a fishing fly used for luring trout, this golden-yellow Blonde Ale has a refreshing palate due to the use of high-quality pale ale malt. By blending different hops at various stages of the brewing process, Andwell Brewery has produced a beautiful beer with creamy, floral and lemony aromas and balanced bitterness. The taste is smooth with honey and citrus notes.
